Cotton, flannel, batting and fleece are the materials we use to bring comfort to sick children. According to hospital regulations, all materials must be brand new and stored free from smoke or damp.

Katie was diagnosed in October of 2006 with adrenocortical carcinoma, an extremely rare solid tumor. She endured five rounds of chemotherapy and an 18-hour surgery to remove the tumor, but the disease returned and she passed away in August, 2007. She was 12 and a half years old.
